Hello:

my name is Charles "Chucky" Mamou.
And unfortunately I am a prisoner, enslaved on Texas Death Row,
UNJUSTIFIABLY!

However; my dear friend and brother (Ron Howard) asked if I was
interested on expressing myself for a few lines.
Being that this is my first time doing such a thing;
I had very few words to tell anyone, without speaking like a
wild-man (smile), ranting about my misery here on the Row.
That changed, as I looked thru some of my old
writings that I had saved. I wrote this since 1999.

And though it may be old, it brought a new inner peace within me. And I hope it does the same for you.
Because, when we take off the cloth of selfishness, we can then realize that everybody; everywhere suffers.
Some suffer in prisons, some suffer on death row, some suffer in the free world, some suffer physically; while others suffer spiritually.
But the bottom line is, "WE ALL STRUGGLE!"

A BEAUTIFUL PROVERB!

My heart feels like a brick, that weighs a ton. Filled with the tears that my eyes refused to shed.
I want to do right, but I'm discouraged every time I do wrong.

When I am foolish in thinking, I have no meaning to live. It hurts more to wake up; than it does to actually live while I'm awake.

But!!! Even fools can become wise. And wisdom allows me to see the things that evolve around me and not within me.

Some blessings aren't designed to build up one's personal pleasures. As the old saying goes;

IT'S BETTER TO GIVE; THAN IT IS TO RECEIVE!

If you're wise, then you'll see the beauty of it. And the beauty that others have received, from being blessed. And if you see the beauty that others have; then I'm sure you too will feel beautiful. And the joyous reality of a blessing when it manifests,

IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!
